The theory of Positive Psychology gets explored and practically applied all around the world these days. 

The center of theoretical and practical activities is the Department of Positive Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. The International Positive Psychology Asocciation (IPPA) is the organization which has set itself the goal to develop and coordinate activities around Positive Psychology.

The Positive Psychology is applied in a wide range of different fields – in economy, education, politics and also in therapy.

More and more psychologists get specific training in this direction, at the University of Pennsylvania there is even a Master of Applied Positive Psychology Program.

In countries like  Australia, England, Germany, Italy and Austria, there are more and more projects developing which work with  Positive Psychology.

The workshops by Prof. Dr. Martin Seligman in Europe have the goal that a big number of people has a chance to get acquainted with the ideas and interventions of Positive Psychology.
