belongs to the 15 most cited psychologists in the world. The professor of the University of Pennsylvania, made heard of himself the first time with his theory of"Learned Helplessness".

Soon after Prof. Dr. Martin Seligman proofed with his research that Optimism can be thought and learned.

1998, in his inaugural speech as president of the American Psychological Association (APA), he surprised the experts with his approach, that he wants psychology to develop from a science of disease to a science of health.

Thanks to him, Prof. Dr. Mihali Csikszentmihalyi and Prof. Dr. Raymond Fowler the Positive Psychology emerged as an academic and applied direction of Psychology.

Prof. Dr. Martin Seligman comes in June and July 2010 for four workshops to Europe.

In these workshops, Prof. Dr. Martin Seligman will present the theory and scientific background of Positive Psychology and will demonstrate the best-studied interventions.
